Syed Moez Shah Bukhari, MBBS, MD, MHA

Dr. Bukhari came to the United States after completing his medical education in Pakistan. He was Chief Resident at UPMC McKeesport, and was awarded with Best Resident Award in all three years of his residency. After residency, he did fellowship in cardiac amyloidosis, and won numerous awards in research during his fellowship including Young Investigator Award by the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, Outstanding Investigator Award by the American Federation for Medical Research and Best Research Award by the University of Pittsburgh Department of Medicine.
Dr. Bukhari has been elected as fellow of the Heart Failure Society of America and the International College of Angiology, and an honorary fellow of the College of Physicians of Philadelphia. Dr. Bukhari has also been a recipient of “Top Physicians Under 40” Award given by Pennsylvania Medical Society.
Dr. Bukhari has been an active member of ACP for more than 2 years now. He gave a talk at one of the virtual Lunch and Learn sessions for the Pennsylvania ACP Chapter. He has been abstract reviewer and judge for local ACP chapters since 2021.
