Dr. Zaidi is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and spends most of his clinical time at UPMC Mercy Hospital as an academic hospitalist. He graduated from Internal Medicine Residency in 2019 from BronxCare Hospital Center and joined UPMC to grow as a clinical educator.

His passion for research led him to pursue his Master's in Clinical Research from Ohio State University. He also used his love for research and quality improvement to successfully lead multiple QI projects at UPMC Mercy hospital in the past 3 years. His further interests are in critical care medicine and he is planning to pursue fellowship training in that field.

Dr. Zaidi has volunteered in many mass vaccine clinics for COVID-19 and is a strong advocate for vaccination and other covid-19 preventative measures. He is married to Kainat, the love of his life, who is also a physician and works with UPMC PUH/SHY Hospital. They have a beautiful 8-month-old baby boy. He is very sorry he could not attend the meeting today due to unforeseen childcare issues but he and his family thank you all for this honor and recognition by PA-ACP.
