Dr. Navneet Dang, MD, MBA, FACP, is an internal medicine physician with over 25 years of experience in healthcare. He has been a part of Geisinger Health for approximately 8 years, where he remains clinically active, practicing internal medicine at Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton.
Dr. Dang holds the position of Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine with Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine and is actively involved in graduate medical education activities.
He has held various leadership roles within Geisinger Health, most recently serving as the System Chief Quality Officer and System Chair of Inpatient Medicine. In these capacities, he played a pivotal role in leading various initiatives aimed at improving quality, safety, and the patient experience across the clinical enterprise.
Currently, Dr. Dang serves as the Chief Medical Officer at Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton, Pennsylvania. In this role, he leads multiple clinical transformation initiatives designed to enhance patient outcomes. His passion lies in quality improvement and making access to "better health easier" for the patients and communities served in Northeastern Pennsylvania.
Furthermore, Dr. Dang is actively engaged in various national committees and holds the position of a member on the National Patient Safety Board Advocacy Coalition, among others.
