Dr. Eileen M. Moser is a general internist and geriatrician who has devoted her career to caring for patients and helping medical students and residents become competent, critical-thinking, whole-hearted physicians prepared to practice in the future healthcare environment.
She serves as Associate Dean for Medical Education and Professor of Medicine at Penn State College of Medicine and Penn State Health. Dr. Moser has a broad background in medical education on the undergraduate, graduate, and continuing medical education arenas with past leadership roles as Associate Program Director, Associate Chief of Medicine for Education, Director of Resident Professional Development, and Associate Dean for Faculty Development.
She attended Georgetown University earning her BS followed by Rutgers New Jersey Medical School for her MD degree, and later obtained a Master in Health Profession Education at University of Illinois, Chicago. She was an Executive Leadership in Academic Medicine (ELAM) Fellow and she was inducted as a Master in the American College of Physicians. She has held multiple leadership roles in professional organizations.
Within Pennsylvania, she currently serves as a Primary Care Trustee in PA-Med where she is a member of the Board of Trustees. Dr. Moser is a member of the COVID-19 Physician Advisory Group for the Department of Health. She serves in the American College of Physicians on the state level as a member of the PA-ACP Governor’s Council and member of the Health and Public Policy Committee. Within national American College of Physicians, she is currently a member of the Board of Regents, chairs the ACP Publication Committee, chairs the In-Training Exam Committee, serves as the Treasurer for the ACP Services Committee, and is a member of the Global Engagement Committee.
