With the growing numbers of older adults worldwide, geriatric syndromes are increasingly common but often unrecognized. The goal of this session is to increase internal medicine physicians’ proficiency in prioritizing comprehensive geriatrics assessment (CGA) domains and choosing screening tools that are practical in a busy clinic. The presenter will discuss patient cases to demonstrate strategies on how to successfully perform CGA in a way that improves care, clinician satisfaction and patient-centered outcomes
