William I. Levin, MD, FACP

Dr. William Levin is a Clinical Professor of Medicine in the Division of General Internal Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh and practices as an academic hospitalist at UPMC Presbyterian. He is the Medical Director of Medicine Consultation and Comanagement and oversees the teaching curriculum and clinical practice in these areas. He attends regularly on the resident teaching service and collaborates closely with the Orthopedic Trauma and Geriatric Trauma service lines.
Dr. Levin received his undergraduate degree from Carnegie Mellon University and his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh. He completed his internal medicine residency, chief residency, and fellowship in General Internal Medicine at University of Cincinnati where he served on the teaching faculty until his appointment at Pitt in 2007. He has been a member of ACP since 1993.
