Elizabeth Oczypok, MD, PhD, FACP

Dr. Beth Oczypok is a general internist and board-certified obesity medicine physician at the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System and an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.

She is a lifelong Pittsburgher and proud Pitt grad (BS’10, PhD ’15, MD’17, Residency ’20, MS ’23).

Dr. Oczypok is passionate about medical education, especially surrounding ambulatory medicine and obesity medicine. She heads the VA Pittsburgh Whole Health Weight Management Clinic. She has been involved in Western PA ACP leadership since her residency. In her free time, she enjoys reading, cooking, and traveling with her husband, Sebastian.
