Dr. Lily Ackermann is a clinical associate professor of medicine in the division of hospital medicine at thomas jefferson university hospital in Philadelphia . She is the section lead for faculty development and education and co-management lead.

Her areas of interest include geriatric hip fracture and she leads a multidisciplinary program on hospital medicine on geriatric fractures. She also leads a central region grands program and Leeds and on boarding program for new faculty
