Keynote Speaker Dr. Utibe Essien.

For 2020, the  PA-ACP Regional Resident/Student Abstract, Poster, and Awards Competition was combined into a single day event on October 31, 2020.  Each region held its own competition, and it brought together physicians, fellows, residents and students who submitted several hundred abstracts between our three regions.

This year’s competition featured a host of posters in several categories.  Like our event, judging took place place 100% online.

This year, in addition to our oral presentations, posters, and regional professionalism awards, we were delighted to feature a keynote address by Utibe R. Essien, MD, MPH, Core Investigator, Center for Health Equity Research and Promotion, VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, entitled: Sustaining Social Justice and Antiracism in Medicine.

And congratulations to all who entered this year's competition.
